Tosha wonders what it's like to make real movies, so Barney brings in an active movie camera and decides to make a big movie or a TV show or a video about things they see or hear or smell or taste or touch, which are called the five senses. Barney, Jason, Kim, and Carlos decide to take a turn with it and they sing "Taking Turns". She says she's been pretending to film movies. They sing "Mix a Color", as they mix colors for Barney's picture.Īfter Kim adds the finishing touches on Barney's toes, Barney looks at the picture and says "It's super-dee-duper! It's so much fun to paint a picture of you." Just then, Tosha comes with a movie camera, which is only a toy. Barney explains that if they mix colors, they would make a new color. The kids decide to paint a picture of Barney holding a flowerpot, but the only paint tube colors in the treehouse are red, yellow, and blue. Barney is satisfied by their clay artwork and hopes that one day they would make him in art. As they get to the end, they discover that Barney is making it happen.īarney transforms from a doll to a life-size form and greets the kids. Carlos guesses that there may be a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow, like in the old saying. After that, the clay rainbow begins to sparkle and a real rainbow shines through it. They cooperate on making a rainbow as they sing "The Rainbow Song". Jason has colored "snakes" to make a rainbow. ![]() Carlos is making a snowman and Kim is making a pizza. ![]() In the treehouse, Jason, Kim, and Carlos are making things with clay. Getting the role to perform as BJ in Barney's Big Surprise at the age of nineteen, Nelson would later perform as BJ in Barney's Musical Castle and later move onto the series first starting first doing Barney's Dino Dancin' Tunes and making his season debut in season seven and last performing in the video A-Counting We Will Go. He auditioned in front of David Cobb, Penny Wilson, and Sloan Coleman, following the music and choreography. Nelson auditioned along with two others in the room who were a little taller. Three days later after the convention and flying back up to North Dakota, Nelson receives a call from Lynn Corzine, who was the tour coordinator for Barney's Big Surprise and tells Nelson that they would like to fly him down to Texas to audition for the role of BJ. Nelson agreed and gave her information but did not think much of it. Jennifer Romano, a costume performer of Baby Bop, told Nelson to try out for the character of BJ for the tour of Barney's Big Surprise, as one of the previous actors, Mike Hagan, was leaving the tour. Nelson would attend 'Little People' Conventions every summer around July. ![]()
